Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Home Delivery Driver 7.5 Tonne in Speke, UK. The role is permanent full-time with a 06:00 start Tuesday to Saturday. You will join a two-person delivery crew delivering furniture and appliances directly to customers’ homes and assisting with installation after training.

You’ll need a valid 7.5T licence, Driver CPC, and tachograph card, plus at least one year of HGV driving experience. Excellent customer service and safe driving are essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid 7.5T (C1) Licence, Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Minimum 1 year of professional HGV driving experience.
• Enjoy interacting with customers and providing excellent service.
• Active role with mobility throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Deliver furniture, appliances and household goods to customers’ homes.
• Work as part of a two-person delivery team.
• Install wet goods and appliances (full training provided).
• Handle large and bulky items safely and professionally.
• Create a positive customer experience at every delivery.
• Drive safely and in line with hours and safety regulations.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Delivering furniture, appliances and household goods directly to customers' homes
• Working as part of a dedicated two-person delivery team
• Installing wet goods and appliances (full training provided)
• Handling large and bulky items safely and professionally
• Creating a positive experience for customers at every delivery
• Driving safely and efficiently in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Following industry-leading health and safety standards and vehicle compliance requirements

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO...

• Hold a valid 7.5T (C1) Licence, Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• Have a minimum 1 year experience professional HGV driving experience
• Enjoy interacting with customers and providing excellent service

• Have previous delivery, installation or home delivery experience (beneficial but not essential)
