Job summary

Blue Arrow is seeking an experienced 7.5 Tonne Driver for a Middleton-based client. The role involves local and regional collections, deliveries, and heavy manual handling with potential for a permanent position.

You will use handheld devices and company software to update statuses, while maintaining strong customer service at every delivery point. Monday to Friday, 08:30 start, with overtime after 40 hours.

Qualifications

• Valid 7.5T (C1) Licence
• Valid CPC Qualification Card
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous delivery and collection experience preferred
• Good geographical knowledge and customer service skills
• Ability to carry out heavy manual handling duties

Temp to Perm Opportunity

Blue Arrow is currently recruiting experienced 7.5 Tonne Drivers for a well-established client based in Middleton.

This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for a long-term role with the potential to secure a permanent position.

The Role

As a 7.5T Driver, you will be responsible for completing collections and deliveries across the local and regional area. This is a physically demanding role where manual handling is involved.

Duties include:

• Completing collections and deliveries efficiently and safely
• Assisting with loading and unloading parcels at both depot and customer locations
• Heavy manual handling throughout the working day
• Using handheld devices and company software to update delivery statuses
• Communicating regularly with the depot regarding deliveries and collections
• Providing excellent customer service at all delivery points

Shift Pattern

• Monday to Friday
• 08:30 AM start time

Pay Rates

• £16.05 per hour
• Overtime paid at £23.43 per hour after 40 hours worked

Requirements

• Valid 7.5T (C1) Licence
• Valid CPC Qualification Card
