Job Title: 7.5T Driver Weekends

Location: Swindon

Salary: £16.39 p/h to £25.69 p/h.

Pertemps are working in partnership with the Royal Mail, the UK's designated Universal Postal Service Provider, to recruit a 7.5T Weekend Driver for the Swindon site. If you are looking for work, our onsite team across the country is seeking Drivers to start immediately.

As a 7.5T Weekend Driver, after passing an assessment, you will trunk parcels and mail between depots across the Royal Mail Network. The work is manual, with shifts offered a week in advance. We offer competitive pay rates and a variety of start times and days to suit different schedules. Flexibility is preferred, especially for weekend work or shifts into the evening or night.

Entry Requirements:

• Held your license for at least 2 years with no more than 5 penalty points. A clean license is preferable, as exceeding 5 points could end the assignment.
• Minimum of 180 days driving experience within the last 2 years in the relevant category for commercial use.
• No more than 10 infringements over a 12-month period, with no more than 6 in the same category over 6 months.
• Checking your Digi tacho before assessment is recommended, as errors can lead to immediate failure.
• Ability to do manual entries on the Digi tacho is essential.
• No DD, DR, IN, or CD endorsements accepted.
• Must pass a CRB security check after registration due to the nature of the business.
