Job description

Driver Hire Southampton is currently recruiting a reliable and experienced 7.5T Driver to join our client in delivering plant machinery to and from customer sites across the Hampshire and South Coast areas.

About the Role:

• Position Type: 12-week temp-to-perm
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Responsibilities:
  • Delivering and collecting plant machinery
  • Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Ensuring machinery is securely strapped and chained
  • Performing daily vehicle checks and maintaining a high standard of vehicle care

What We're Looking For:

• A Full UK 7.5T driving licence
• Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card
• Previous experience with loading, unloading, and securing plant machinery
• Strong strapping and chaining skills
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities
• A commitment to vehicle upkeep and safety
