Job summary

TSR Ipswich Ltd in Kettering seeks a reliable 7.5T truck driver to join our transport team. You will deliver to residential properties, maintain vehicle safety and regulatory compliance, and support customer service across routes.

We offer weekly pay, induction and paid training, and a potential path to permanent work. Newly qualified drivers are welcome; a driver mate assists with deliveries; shifts Tue-Sat or Sun-Thu.

Qualifications

• Valid UK HGV/lorry licence with a maximum of 6 points.
• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for commercial driving.
• Ability to handle physically demanding tasks and secure loads.

Responsibilities

• Ensure planned routes are efficient to support timely deliveries while complying with driving hours and safety regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report faults promptly.
• Secure cargo and maintain load stability during transit.
