Job summary

Rapier Employment is hiring a 7.5 Tonne Driver for the Ipswich area. You will join a two-person delivery crew to carry out multi-drop deliveries of heavy goods and household appliances, with full training provided and immediate starts available.

The role involves safe driving, digital tachograph compliance, and excellent customer service as you work Sunday to Thursday with 06:00 start times. Temp-to-perm opportunities exist for reliable performers.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence.
• Driver CPC qualification.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Minimum 6 months driving experience.
• Willingness to work weekends.
• Willingness to undergo DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Complete multi-drop home deliveries to customers.
• Deliver heavy goods and household appliances.
• Work in two-person delivery crew with a Driver's Mate.
• Perform daily vehicle safety checks and report defects.
• Maintain delivery paperwork and tachograph records.
• Provide professional customer service at each delivery.
