Job summary

TSR Ipswich Ltd is seeking reliable 7.5T Truck Drivers to join our transport team in Bedford. The successful candidate will transport goods across routes, adhere to safety and driving hours, and provide excellent customer service.

This role is PAYE with weekly pay and offers ongoing work with potential for permanent placement. Shifts run Tue-Sat or Sun-Thu; includes residential deliveries and heavy lifting with Driver's mate support.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence suitable for heavy goods vehicles with up to 6 points.
• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations for commercial driving.
• Ability to handle physically demanding tasks and secure loads.

Responsibilities

• Deliver to residential properties and ensure timely deliveries.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report faults.
• Secure cargo and maintain accurate delivery logs.
• Communicate with dispatchers and clients about schedules and delays.
• Follow traffic laws and company safety policies on every journey.
