Job summary

The Best Connection Warrington is recruiting 7.5 Tonne drivers for clients based in Widnes. You will load your own vehicle, carry out safety checks and report any delivery issues or delays. The role runs a rotating pattern with a 4:00am start and about 45 hours per week, Monday to Saturday with Sundays off.

Initially a temporary assignment with the potential to go permanent. A valid licence, CPC & Digi Card, up-to-date references and multi-drop experience are required.

Qualifications

• Valid driving licence and up-to-date CPC & Digi Card required.
• Minimum 6 points for minor offences.
• Verifiable references from previous employers.
• Experience with multi-drop deliveries.

The Best Connection Warrington are recruiting 7.5 Tonne drivers on behalf of our clients based in Widnes.

Responsibilities:

• Loading your own vehicle before leaving the site.
• Ensuring you complete vehicle safety checks.
• Reporting any delivery issues, shortages, or delays.

Shift Pattern:

• Rotational 4, 5 and 6-day working pattern: Monday to Saturday, with Sundays off and a rotating day off during the week.
• 4:00am start time.
• 45 hours per week.

Please note that this role involves manual handling, including lifting products weighing up to 25kg (approximately the weight of a sack of potatoes).

Requirements:

• A valid driving licence
• Minimum of 6 points for minor offences.
• An up-to-date CPC & Digi Card.
• Verifiable references.
• Multi-drop experience.

If successful, this role will be on a temp to perm basis.
