Job summary

The Best Connection Newport is currently recruiting for an experienced 7.5 Tonne Driver on behalf of our reputable client based in Tredegar, South East of England. This role offers regular Mon-Fri shifts with early starts and consistent hours.

You will deliver multi-drop loads across the South East in a 7.5t vehicle, with a Driver's Mate, ensuring loads are secured and all pre-checks are completed, while delivering excellent service to customers.

Qualifications

• A valid Category C1 (7.5t) licence and up-to-date CPC card.
• Digital Tachograph card and multi-drop delivery experience desirable.
• Able to strap and secure loads safely and adhere to safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 7.5 tonne vehicle on multi-drop deliveries across the South East.
• Safely secure loads using ratchet straps and perform pre-shift checks.
• Report any vehicle issues and deliver excellent customer service at each drop.
• Follow road safety rules and company policies at all times.

7.5 Tonne Drivers on behalf of our reputable client based in

About the Role:

You will be responsible for carrying out between

7.5t vehicle, with a Drivers Mate delivering various goods to commercial and residential locations. All routes are pre-planned, and the transport team offers great support throughout the day.

This is a Monday to Friday role with 7

:30 AM starts, giving you a consistent work routine and your evenings free.

Key Responsibilities:

• Driving a 7.5 tonne vehicle to make multi-drop deliveries across the South East
• Safely securing loads using ratchet straps
• Performing routine vehicle checks and reporting any issues
• Delivering excellent customer service at each drop
• Adhering to road safety rules and company policies

What We're Looking For:

• A valid

Category C1 (7.5t) licence

• Up-to-date

CPC card and

Digital Tachograph card

• Previous multi-drop experience is desirable but not essential
• Ability to strap and secure loads safely
• Punctual, professional, and self-motivated
