Job summary

Driver Hire Newcastle is recruiting 7.5 tonne (HGV) drivers for a variety of clients across the North East. Daily work involves delivering locally, with occasional longer runs across the country.

Rates start from £14.25 per hour (PAYE). Enhanced rates apply for overtime, weekends and nights. Applicants should hold a valid C1 licence, CPC and a digital tachograph, with recent commercial driving experience being advantageous but not essential.

Daily work mainly involves delivering locally across the region but distance runs throughout the country are also a possibility.

It could be anything from working with local builders merchants, pharmaceuticals supermarkets, insulation, glass, steel or furniture.

Rates of pay starting from £14.25 per hour (PAYE). Enhanced rate available for overtime, weekends and nights.

The ideal candidate will have:
