Job summary

Manpower UK is seeking reliable 7.5t drivers for a temporary, ongoing role in Guildford. You will operate 7.5-tonne vehicles on planned routes between distribution centres and delivery points, loading and unloading as required, and ensuring packages are handled safely and on time.

Applicants must hold a valid UK C1 licence, Driver CPC, Digital Tachograph Card, and up to six penalty points. The position offers regular hours, competitive pay, and full PPE plus workwear.

Qualifications

• Valid UK C1 driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 penalty points and no serious driving endorsements.
• 1 year previous 7.5t driving experience within a logistics or distribution environment.
• Strong understanding of UK road transport legislation and vehicle safety.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate 7.5t vehicles on planned routes between distribution centres and delivery locations.
• Transport mail, parcels and freight efficiently while meeting delivery schedules.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects in line with company procedures.
• Load and unload vehicles safely while ensuring the security of all goods.
• Complete delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately.
• Work independently while maintaining excellent communication with the wider operations team.
• Follow all road transport legislation, health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Multiple drops per shift, depending on route assigned.
