Job summary

Gi Group UK in Thurmaston, near Leicester, is seeking a 7.5Tonne Driver for ad hoc shifts. You will perform vehicle checks, make healthcare deliveries across the UK, and prioritise workload to meet time commitments. The role is Monday–Friday, 6am starts, 8–10 hour shifts.

You must hold a valid UK Category C1 driving licence, have at least 1 year of driving experience, and have no more than 6 points on your licence for insurance purposes. Weekly pay and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Category C1 driving licence required.
• Minimum 1 year of driving experience.
• No more than 6 points on licence for insurance purposes.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, flexibility and resilience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle checks and safety inspections.

£15.47ph (Advanced Holiday rate included)

Duties

• Conducting Vehicle checks
• 2-5 drops of healthcare supplies
• Delivering safely to customers throughout the UK
• Prioritising workload to ensure time commitments are met

Shift patterns

• Monday to Friday 6am starts
• 8-10 hour shift

Requirements and skills

• You MUST have a Valid Full UK Category C1 Driving Licence
• 1 years experience required
• No more than 6 points on your licence for insurance purposes (no BA/CD/CU/DR/DD/IN/TT offences please)
• Strong work ethic, reliable, flexible, enthusiastic, and resilient - are welcomed attributes in this role.
