Job summary

Driver Hire Stockport currently recruits a 7.5T Driver to support our client in Stockport with deliveries of food and fresh produce. The role is manual handling heavy work and is a temp-to-perm opportunity leading to full-time employment.

Responsibilities include safe driving, daily vehicle checks, regular updates to Branch Managers, and accurate paperwork. Applicants must hold a C1 licence, CPC and Tachograph card, with reliable time management.

Qualifications

• Valid C1 (7.5T) licence required.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card required.
• No DDs, DRs, INs or TTs on licence.

• Conduct daily vehicle checks.

Driver Hire Stockport are currently recruiting for a 7.5T Driver to work for our well-respected client based in Stockport. Please note that manual handling is required as you will be required to deliver food/ fresh produce to businesses. Please be advised that this is a temp to perm position so the right candidate will be offered a full-time job.

Duties Include for the 7.5T Driver:

• Completing paperwork accurately and on time

Requirements of the 7.5t Driver:

Hours are generally 7am starts – average 9 hour days. Pay Rates (Paid Weekly via PAYE): Whilst employed with Driver Hire Stockport you will receive £15.00ph. If you choose to have your holidays upfront it goes up to 16.81ph When you go full time it will increase to £15.29ph + additional benefits they offer.
