Job summary

Driver Hire Stockport are recruiting for a 7.5T Driver to work for our client in Stockport. Role involves delivering food/fresh produce to businesses with manual handling. Temp-to-perm opportunity leading to full-time employment.

Typical hours start around 7am, averaging about 9 hours per day. PAYE pay rates: £15.00 per hour, rising to £16.81 if holidays are taken upfront; full-time may move to £15.29 per hour with additional benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid C1 (7.5T) Licence
• Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum 6 months' relevant experience
• No DDs, DRs, INs, or TTs
• Good time management and reliability

Responsibilities

• Safe and responsible driving of the HGV 7.5T vehicle
• Conducting daily vehicle checks
• Maintaining regular contact with Branch Managers on daily progress
• Completing paperwork accurately and on time

Driver Hire Stockport are currently recruiting for a 7.5T Driver to work for our well-respected client based in Stockport. Please note that manual handling is required as you will be required to deliver food/ fresh produce to businesses. Please be advised that this is a temp to perm position so the right candidate will be offered a full-time job.

Duties Include for the 7.5T Driver:

• Safe and responsible driving of the HGV 7.5T vehicle

Pay Rates (Paid Weekly via PAYE):

Whilst employed with Driver Hire Stockport you will receive £15.00ph. If you choose to have your holidays upfront it goes up to 16.81ph

When you go full time it will increase to £15.29ph + additional benefits they offer.
