Job summary

Driver Hire Stockport is seeking a reliable 7.5T Driver to deliver food and fresh produce to businesses in Stockport. The role requires manual handling and offers a temp-to-perm path to a full-time position.

Typical hours start around 7am, averaging 9-hour days. You will hold a C1 licence, CPC and Tachograph card, with no disqualifications, and you will work with regular liaison to Branch Managers and complete necessary paperwork efficiently.

Qualifications

• Valid C1 (7.5T) licence.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• No DDs, DRs, INs, or TTs.
• Good time management and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Safe and responsible driving of the HGV 7.5T vehicle.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks.
• Maintain regular contact with Branch Managers on daily progress.
• Complete paperwork accurately and on time.

Driver Hire Stockport are currently recruiting for a 7.5T Driver to work for our well-respected client based in Stockport. Please note that manual handling is required as you will be required to deliver food/ fresh produce to businesses. Please be advised that this is a temp to perm position so the right candidate will be offered a full-time job.

Duties Include for the 7.5T Driver:

• Safe and responsible driving of the HGV 7.5T vehicle

Pay Rates (Paid Weekly via PAYE):

Whilst employed with Driver Hire Stockport you will receive £15.00ph. If you choose to have your holidays upfront it goes up to 16.81ph

When you go full time it will increase to £15.29ph + additional benefits they offer.
