Driver Hire Southampton is offering an exciting opportunity for 7.5T Drivers to join a well-established company based in Southampton. In this role, you'll be responsible for delivering home improvement materials to both commercial and residential properties, with assistance from a driver's mate.

About The Role

1. Vehicle: Driving a 7.5T truck.
2. Shift Start Time: Between 7:00 AM and 11:00 AM.
3. Contract Length: Ongoing work, working 5 days a week (Monday to Sunday).
4. Shifts: 8 to 10 hours per day, with potential for overtime.
5. Key Duties:
   1. Delivering home improvement goods across the South Coast.
   2. Heavy lifting involved, with the assistance of a driver's mate for manual handling and directions.
   3. Ensuring safe, timely deliveries to commercial and residential areas.

What We're Looking For

1. Full UK driving licence.
2. Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card.
3. No DD's or DR's on your driving record.
4. Own transport for commuting to work.
5. Minimum of 12 months experience driving a 7.5T vehicle.
6. Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting and manual handling.
7. Willing to work alongside a driver's mate for lifting and route assistance.
8. Good local knowledge of the South Coast area.
