Job description

To deliver customers products to the required premises, ensuring all customers receive exceptional customer service as part of a multi-drop delivery route. The driver will ensure that all products are transported safely to the customers’ premises, treating their freight as if it were our own.

Key responsibilities

1. Represent DX in a professional manner at all times
2. Drive vehicles safely and legally, ensuring compliance with all legal and company requirements at all times
3. Undertake daily vehicle checks, report defects immediately, and complete correct paperwork
4. Ensure all products are scanned using DX scanning equipment
5. Load deliveries safely prior to leaving the depot
6. Observe DX procedures and policies at all times
7. Manage your routing to ensure timely and premium deliveries
8. Use and maintain all required equipment and PPE in good condition
9. Report delivery and on-road issues to the traffic office immediately
10. Ensure deliveries are received in excellent condition every time
11. Handle customer issues politely and effectively
12. Make collections according to instructions and scheduled times
