Job summary

Manpower is recruiting reliable and professional 7.5t Drivers to join one of the UK's most recognised logistics and distribution organisations, based in Edinburgh, EH11 4YY. This temporary, ongoing role offers competitive pay, regular work, and a chance to be part of a trusted nationwide operation.

As a 7.5t driver you will operate 7.5t vehicles on planned routes, conduct vehicle checks, load/unload, complete paperwork, and maintain safety and compliance with CPC and Tachograph rules.

Qualifications

• Valid UK C1 driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• 2 years previous 7.5t driving experience within a logistics or distribution environment.
• Strong understanding of UK road transport legislation and vehicle safety.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate 7.5t vehicles on planned routes between distribution centres and delivery locations.
• Transport mail, parcels and freight efficiently while meeting delivery schedules.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects in line with company procedures.
• Load and unload vehicles safely while ensuring the security of all goods.
• Complete delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately.
• Work independently while maintaining excellent communication with the wider operations team.
• Follow all road transport legislation, health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Multiple drops per shift, depending on route assigned.

What we’re looking for
