Job summary

Manpower is recruiting for a 7.5t Driver based in Edinburgh to join a leading UK logistics operation. You will operate 7.5t vehicles on planned routes, manage loads, and complete electronic records while maintaining safety and delivery schedules.

With CPC and Tachograph credentials, you’ll contribute to a reliable nationwide service. This temporary, ongoing contract offers varied shifts, competitive pay, and the chance to grow with a respected logistics employer.

Qualifications

• Valid UK C1 driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 5 penalty points and no serious driving endorsements.
• 2 years' driving experience with 7.5t vehicle.
• Solid knowledge of UK road transport rules and vehicle safety.
• Excellent time management and organisation.
• Professional, reliable and customer-focused.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate 7.5t vehicles on planned routes between distribution centres and delivery locations.
• Transport mail, parcels and freight efficiently while meeting delivery schedules.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects in line with company procedures.
• Load and unload vehicles safely while ensuring the security of all goods.
• Complete delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately.
• Work independently while maintaining excellent communication with the wider operations team.
• Follow all road transport legislation, health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Multiple drops per shift, depending on route assigned.
