Job summary

The Best Connection are currently seeking multiple 7.5T Drivers for their Havant distribution site in Hampshire. You will load/unload parcels, perform collections and deliveries, and update statuses on handheld devices while delivering excellent customer service.

Shifts run Monday to Friday, starting around 9 am, with immediate starts for suitable candidates. Must hold a valid 7.5T licence, Driver CPC, and Tachograph card, and be able to perform heavy lifting.

Qualifications

• A valid UK licence with the 7.5T entitlement.
• A valid Driver CPC card.
• A digital Tachograph card.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to carry out manual handling and heavy lifting.

Duties to include but not limited to:

• Assist with loading and unloading parcels at the depot and customer locations.
• Carry out collections and deliveries efficiently and safely.
• Use handheld devices and company software to update delivery statuses.
• Provide good customer service at all times.
• Complete deliveries and collections in a professional manner.
• Be prepared for a role involving regular manual handling and heavy lifting.

Pay rates:

£16.05 per hour - Standard rate

£23.45 per hour - Overtime rate

Hours of work:

• Monday - Friday
• 9 am start
• Ongoing position
• Immediate starts for the right candidates

You must have:
