Job summary

GAP Group Limited in Bristol is seeking a professional 7.5 tonne driver to join our nationwide Non Mechanical division. You'll load, deliver and collect hire equipment to and from customer sites across our construction, utilities, and infrastructure sectors, ensuring timely, safe, and professional service with on-site demonstrations when required.

Qualifications

• C1 licence held with valid status.
• Driver CPC – 35 hours completed as required.
• Valid digital tachograph card is in place.
• Experience in a similar hire equipment industry.

Responsibilities

• Load, deliver and collect hire equipment to/from customer sites.
• Provide demonstrations where required during delivery.
• Complete relevant checks and administration for hires.
• Maintain professional and timely service on site.

The Role: Our nationwide Non Mechanical division hires a range of equipment including crowd control barriers, scaffolding, and road plates for the events industry alongside our more traditional business sectors within construction, utilities, and infrastructure.

The duties of the 7.5 tonne driver will include the loading, delivery, and collection of hire equipment to and from customer sites in a timely and professional manner, providing demonstrations where required, and completing any relevant checks and administration involved in the hire.
