Job summary

Manpower UK is seeking reliable 7.5T drivers for temporary, ongoing work in Nottingham (NG9 2RR). You will safely operate 7.5-tonne vehicles on routes between distribution centres and delivery points, transporting mail and parcels while meeting schedule times.

We require a valid UK C1 licence, Driver CPC, and a good driving record. The role offers varied shifts, competitive hourly pay, and the chance to join a nationwide logistics operation with ongoing support.

Qualifications

• UK C1 driving licence required.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 penalty points and no serious driving endorsements.
• 1 year of 7.5t driving experience in logistics or distribution.
• Strong understanding of UK road transport legislation and vehicle safety.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Professional, reliable and customer-focused approach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate 7.5t vehicles on planned routes between distribution centres and delivery locations.
• Transport mail, parcels and freight efficiently while meeting delivery schedules.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects in line with company procedures.
• Load and unload vehicles safely while ensuring the security of all goods.
• Complete delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately.
• Work independently while maintaining excellent communication with the wider operations team.
• Follow all road transport legislation, health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Multiple drops per shift, depending on route assigned.
