Job summary

Swift Temps in St Albans is seeking an experienced 7.5T driver for multi-drop deliveries to commercial customers, including white goods, with a 6:00am start and around 9-hour shifts. This full-time role offers a temp-to-perm path and a starting rate of £16.52 per hour with overtime.

You will operate tail lifts, perform vehicle checks, complete delivery paperwork, and provide excellent customer service at delivery points.

Qualifications

• Valid 7.5T (Category C1) licence.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Previous multi-drop experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of driver hours and road safety regulations.
• No criminal record - a check will be done.

Responsibilities

• Multi-drop deliveries to commercial customers.
• White goods delivery.
• Use of tail lift and trolley.
• Early morning starts at 6:00am.
• Average shift length of around 9 hours.
• Ensuring timely and safe deliveries.
• Vehicle checks and completion of delivery paperwork.
• Providing excellent customer service at delivery points.
