Job summary

The Recruitment Crowd are recruiting on behalf of a well known client in Crawley for multiple 7.5 tonne drivers. Working hours are Monday to Friday, starting at 9:30am. The role involves deliveries and collections across depots and customer locations.

You will use company software to update delivery statuses, perform pre- and post-trip checks, and maintain safety standards. A full UK driving licence with CAT C1, DCPC and Tachograph card, and a clean licence are required, with at least one year

Qualifications

Full UK licence with 7.5 tonne entitlement (CAT C1).
1 year driving experience required.
Valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
No more than 6 points on licence.
Understanding of Working Time Directive (WTD).
Excellent communication skills.
Safety-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

Deliveries and collections.
Manual handling heavily involved including loading and unloading parcels at depots and customer locations.
Handling devices and company software to update delivery statuses
Pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle, ensuring road worthiness and compliance with company standards.
Adhere to all relevant traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to maintain a high level of safety on the road.
Communicate with dispatch and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
