CareerMakers is seeking a reliable and experienced 7.5 Tonne Driver for our client in Warrington, WA1. You will be responsible for safely transporting goods and ensuring on-time deliveries while working independently.

Key duties include loading and unloading, route planning, vehicle checks, and reporting maintenance needs. The role offers a competitive hourly rate of £16.82, with holiday pay included.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with the appropriate category to drive a 7.5-tonne vehicle
• Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with commercial driving experience
• Excellent time management skills to ensure on-time deliveries
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 7.5-tonne vehicle to deliver goods to designated locations
• Load and unload goods from the vehicle
• Plan routes and ensure timely deliveries
• Inspect the vehicle for any mechanical issues and report any maintenance needs
