Job summary

Kingdom Services Group is seeking a reliable 7.5 tonne driver to join our logistics team in Middleton, Greater Manchester. The role involves safe, timely transportation of goods across the North West and beyond, with a contract, full-time hours.

You will perform routine vehicle checks, plan routes, load/unload, maintain delivery records and communicate clearly with customers and colleagues. The position requires a valid UK C1 licence and tachograph experience, and offers shifts including early

Qualifications

• Valid full UK driving licence with C1 entitlement for 7.5 tonne vehicles.
• Digital tachograph card and familiarity with its operation.
• Good level of physical fitness for loading/unloading.
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills for records and communication.

Responsibilities

• Operate and drive a 7.5 tonne vehicle safely and legally.
• Load and unload goods carefully and securely.
• Plan routes to meet delivery schedules and optimise fuel use.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report defects.
• Maintain accurate delivery/collection/mileage records.
• Ensure cargo is secured properly during transit.
