Job summary

DPD UK in Portsmouth is seeking a reliable 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our local delivery team. You will own a designated daily route with 40-50 stops, delivering parcels with 10/10 service and a friendly customer-facing approach.

You'll drive a 7.5 Tonne vehicle, use Saturn handheld devices for route management, and handle loading with sack barrows and hand trucks. The role offers a stable, permanent contract, Monday to Friday work, and a start window from 07:00 to 08:30.

Qualifications

• A valid 7.5 Tonne (C1) licence and DQC/CPC accreditation.
• Ideally 6 months recent driving experience handling 7.5 Tonne vehicles.
• Professional, approachable and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 7.5 T tonne vehicle on local routes with 40–50 stops daily.
• Use Saturn handheld devices to manage deliveries and track progress.
• Load and unload parcels using sack barrows and hand trucks safely.
• Provide friendly, professional service and act as the face of DPD to customers.
