Job summary

DPD UK is hiring a reliable 7.5 Tonne Driver to own a designated local route. You’ll deliver around 40–50 stops daily, ensuring every parcel reaches its destination with top-notch service. You’ll be the final link between the community and our customers, solving route challenges and keeping deliveries on track.

Qualifications

• Valid 7.5 Tonne (C1) licence and DQC/CPC accreditation.
• Ideally 6 months recent driving experience with 7.5 Tonne vehicles.
• Professional, approachable and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Physically active and comfortable with lifting involved in the job.
• Care for customers and colleagues with respect.

Responsibilities

• Drive a designated local route with 40–50 stops daily.
• Load and unload parcels using sack barrows and hand trucks.
• Use Saturn handheld devices to track progress and deliveries.
• Provide a professional, courteous service to customers.
• Ensure safe, timely and accurate deliveries each day.
