Job summary

DPD UK is looking for a reliable 7.5 Tonne driver to own a designated local route and ensure every parcel reaches its destination with top service. You’ll cover around 40–50 stops daily, solving problems on the go and keeping customers happy with a professional approach.

You’ll load and unload parcels, use Saturn handheld devices for tracking, and thrive in a fast-paced environment while supporting sustainable practices at every step.

Qualifications

• Valid 7.5 Tonne licence (C1) and DQC/CPC accreditation.
• Around 6 months recent driving experience with 7.5 Tonne vehicles.
• Professional, approachable and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Physically active and able to handle lifting involved.
• Care about doing a good job and treat customers and colleagues with respect.

Responsibilities

• Own a designated local route with ~40–50 stops per day and ensure prompt deliveries.
• Load/unload parcels using equipment and maintain safe, efficient handling.
• Use Saturn handheld devices to track progress and manage deliveries.
