Job summary

DPD UK in Reading is seeking a reliable 7.5 Tonne Driver to own a local route with around 40–50 stops daily and provide excellent customer service. You will be loading and delivering parcels while using Saturn handheld devices to track progress and navigate routes.

The role runs Monday to Friday with a start window around 07:00–08:30, offering stability and a strong growth path in a sustainability-focused company.

Qualifications

• A valid 7.5 Tonne (C1) licence and DQC/CPC accreditation.
• Ideally 6 months recent driving experience with 7.5 Tonne vehicles.
• Professional, approachable and able to work in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Drive and manage a designated local route with 40–50 stops daily.
• Use Saturn handheld devices to track deliveries and navigate routes.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service on every drop-off.
• Load and unload parcels using sacks and hand trucks; lift safely.
