Job summary

Manpower is seeking a reliable 7.5 Tonne Driver for our client in Tiverton, on a temp-to-perm basis. You will deliver products to pubs, supermarkets, and events, ensuring safe, on-time deliveries with excellent customer service.

The role requires a UK C1 licence, Driver CPC, and tachograph card, with start times between 4:00am and 6:00am and finishing between 1:00pm and 5:00pm. Benefits include weekly pay and upskilling opportunities.

Qualifications

• Valid UK C1 (7.5 Tonne) driving licence with ≤6 points.
• Current Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Forklift licence (B1 Counterbalance) is desirable.
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
• Experience with multi-drop deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products safely, on time, and in full to customers.
• Coordinate with Warehouse, Transport, and Office teams.
• Support yard and loading activities as required.
• Complete multi-drop deliveries with high customer service.
• Carry out vehicle checks and report defects promptly.
• Adhere to Working Time Directive and safety policies.
• Escalate delivery issues to Transport or Customer Service.
• Model safe, respectful behavior and continuous improvement.
• Assist with training new team members as required.
