Job description

We are looking to recruit a number of professional 7.5 tonne drivers to work on a temp to perm position based in Skelmersdale.

To be considered for this role, you must hold a valid driver’s licence with the 7.5 tonne qualification, a DCPC card, and a digital tachograph with no more than 6 minor penalty points.

The duties include 2-man home delivery and installation of electrical/white goods throughout the region. Due to the nature of the role, you need to be of smart appearance, have good customer service skills, and be able to do manual lifting, as some products are of an abnormal shape and heavy. Full training and induction will be provided.

The work schedule includes days throughout the week and weekends. Once permanent, you will be assigned a shift pattern, which will be discussed and agreed upon.

The salary is £8.75 per hour from Monday to Friday and £11.50 per hour on Saturday and Sunday.
