Job summary

Driver Hire Chester is seeking 7.5t Delivery Drivers for ongoing work in Chester, starting from Mid-April. This role includes delivering products from a DIY store with an emphasis on customer interactions and operational duties. Successful candidates will hold specific driving qualifications and be competent in using delivery equipment.

Driver Hire Chester and North Wales are recruiting for 2x 7.5t Delivery Drivers working for our clients based in Chester

This is ongoing work for approx. 7 weeks initially, to commence from Mid-April until the end of May

As a 7.5t Driver, your responsibilities will include:

• Driving a 7.5t Curtain Side delivering a range of products from a DIY store

Training will be over 2 days and will consist of Driving Assessment and SSOW

Working on an average shift length between 8-10 hours for this position, your essential qualities and requirements must include:

• C1 category entitlement on your licence which has been held for a minimum of 12 months
• Experience of Driving a 7.5t delivery truck in a urban environment
• Experience and knowledge of using a tail lift, pump truck and be fit and healthy
• Great customer skills required, as you will be dealing with customers on a daily basis
• Candidates must be comfortable using a PDA
• Holding a valid CPC and Digital tacho card

The working week is Tues-Sat 11.00 start or Mon -Fri 11.00 start with a approx. finish time of approx. 19.00

Rates- basic £13.25 or (£14.85) adv and Saturdays £19.87 or (£22.26 adv)
