Job description
All 7.5t Customer Delivery and Installation Drivers play a critical role in helping everyone enjoy amazing technology. Your responsibilities include safely delivering, installing, and collecting a range of electrical products into customers' homes, such as White Goods, Televisions, and Cookers. You will also provide excellent customer service to support our market leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Safely deliver, install, and demonstrate White Goods, Televisions, and Cookers at customers' premises.
- Engage with customers, keep them informed, and ensure delivery and installation are performed to high standards following best practices.
- Maintain communication with your site throughout the day to manage delivery requests, resolve issues, and seek guidance as needed.
- Use the handheld device (Savvy) correctly, completing visits and obtaining customer signatures.
- Coordinate with manufacturers during deliveries when necessary.
- Handle products safely and support colleagues in doing the same.
- Meet the physical requirements of the role.
- Maintain professional development, including driving license and training updates.
- Manage load volumes during the day, adjusting and securing loads safely using provided equipment.
- Comply with all transport legislation and laws.
- Follow driving regulations, site requirements, and health and safety policies to ensure safety for customers and colleagues.
- Drive safely, respecting other road users.
- Represent the company as a brand ambassador, demonstrating values and customer-first behaviors.
- Deliver and collect tote boxes and products from retail stores.
Required skills and experience:
- A passion for delivering excellent customer service.
- Strong verbal communication skills, both on the phone and face-to-face.
- Flexible work approach, able to work alone or with colleagues.
- Proper equipment handling and manual handling skills, following health and safety training.
- Responsibility for personal learning and development.
- Experience driving a 7.5t vehicle or meet criteria to train for license (e.g., 6 months driving a 3.5t vehicle with no blameworthy accidents and no more than 3 penalty points).
- Ability to problem-solve calmly and efficiently to meet business and customer needs.
Qualifications:
- A full UK/EU C1 driving license (max 6 penalty points) or criteria to work towards it.
- Driver Certificate of Professional Competence Qualification (DCPC).
- Driver Qualification (incomplete in the original, please specify or clarify if needed).
