Job summary

DPD UK in Sheffield is seeking a reliable 7.5 Tonne Driver to join its green, tech-driven delivery team. You will manage a designated local route with 40–50 stops daily, ensuring on-time, high-quality service for customers.

Operate a 7.5 Tonne vehicle, use Saturn handheld devices for navigation and proof of delivery, and load/unload parcels with safe handling. Permanent role, Mon-Fri, 40 hours/week, with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Valid 7.5 Tonne (C1) licence and DQC/CPC accreditation.
• Ideally 6 months recent driving experience with 7.5 Tonne.
• Professional, approachable, thrives in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Drive local routes with 40–50 stops daily.
• Use Saturn handheld devices for deliveries and proof of delivery.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service on every drop.

With around 40 - 50 stops a day, you’ll be the ultimate problem-solver, navigating your community and making life easier for our customers. • Master the Tech: No paper maps here. You’ll use our industry-leading Saturn handheld devices. It’s basically your mission control for tracking progress, managing deliveries, and staying ahead of the game.
• The Main Character Energy: You’re the friendly face our customers see every day. Whether it’s a quick "hello" or a helpful drop‑off, your energy defines the DPD experience.
• The Hustle: You’ll be loading and unloading parcels, using high-end gear like sack barrows and hand trucks to handle the heavy lifting safely. Think of it as a paid workout while you're on the move.
