Job summary

DPD UK is recruiting a reliable, tech-savvy 7.5 Tonne Driver for Lincoln, delivering on a local route with 40–50 stops daily. You’ll use Saturn handheld devices, load and unload parcels, and provide excellent customer service on a tight, consistent schedule.

The role requires a valid 7.5 Tonne (C1) licence and DQC/CPC accreditation, with around 6 months of relevant driving experience preferred. This is a permanent, full-time position with clear growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Valid 7.5 Tonne (C1) licence and DQC/CPC accreditation.
• Ideally 6 months recent driving experience handling 7.5 Tonne vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Drive a designated local route with 40–50 stops daily.

We’re looking for someone to take the wheel and own a designated local route. You aren’t just moving boxes; you’re the final boss of the delivery game, ensuring every parcel hits its destination with 10/10 service. With around 40 - 50 stops a day, you’ll be the ultimate problem-solver, navigating your community and making life easier for our customers. Your role is vital in providing a service that genuinely makes a difference to our customers.

The Role Breakdown

• Drive the Vibe: Get behind the wheel of a 7.5 Tonne vehicle. You’ll be cruising local routes, keeping it safe, professional, and efficient.
• Master the Tech: No paper maps here. You’ll use our industry-leading Saturn handheld devices. It’s basically your mission control for tracking progress, managing deliveries, and staying ahead of the game.
• The Main Character Energy: You’re the friendly face our customers see every day. Whether it’s a quick "hello" or a helpful drop-off, your energy defines the DPD experience.
• The Hustle: You’ll be loading and unloading parcels, using high-end gear like sack barrows and hand trucks to handle the heavy lifting safely. Think of it as a paid workout while you’re on the move.
