Job summary

DPD Warrington is seeking a reliable, tech-savvy 7.5 Tonne Driver to own a designated local route. You’ll complete around 40–50 stops daily, ensuring on-time, high-quality service and the friendly, professional delivery experience customers expect.

The role uses Saturn handheld devices for progress tracking and route efficiency. Shifts run 08:00–18:00, with patterns including Mon-Thurs or Tue-Fri; DPD promotes internal progression and offers health support and retail discounts.

Qualifications

• Valid 7.5 Tonne (C1) licence and DQC/CPC accreditation.
• Ideally 6 months recent driving experience with 7.5 Tonne vehicles.
• Physically active and able to handle lifting in daily duties.

Responsibilities

• Drive and own a designated local route with 40–50 stops daily.

With around 40 - 50 stops a day, you’ll be the ultimate problem-solver, navigating your community and making life easier for our customers. • Master the Tech: No paper maps here. You’ll use our industry-leading Saturn handheld devices. It’s basically your mission control for tracking progress, managing deliveries, and staying ahead of the game.


• The Main Character Energy: You’re the friendly face our customers see every day. Whether it’s a quick \"hello\" or a helpful drop-off, your energy defines the DPD experience.


• The Hustle: You’ll be loading and unloading parcels, using high-end gear like sack barrows and hand trucks to handle the heavy lifting safely. Think of it as a paid workout while you're on the move.
