Job summary

Parcelforce Worldwide is seeking a reliable 7.5 Tonne Driver in North Essex for a full-time temporary role. You will perform multi-drop deliveries, ensuring parcels reach customers safely and on time while delivering excellent service.

Shifts run Monday to Friday, 10:00–18:00, up to 35 hours per week. A valid UK C1 driving licence with up to six points and prior 7.5-tonne experience are essential, as is DBS clearance and a tachograph card.

Requirements

• Full UK manual driving licence with category C1 entitlement (7.5T) with no more than 6 points.
• Previous experience driving a 7.5T vehicle essential.
• Good knowledge of York and surrounding areas.
• Physically fit with ability to lift parcels up to 20kg.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Ability to pass a DBS (criminal background) check.
• You will also need to provide a Valid Tachograph card.

As a 7.5 Tonne delivery driver, you’re expected to securely manage all items on your route, including handling and delivering election materials and certain items (such as food products or alcohol) in line with Royal Mail business standards.
