Steer Staffing Ltd. is recruiting for a 7.5 tonne Delivery Driver to join a Bolton-based distribution team. You will work with a Driver's Mate, complete multi-drop deliveries to homes and offices, and follow planned routes with morning pre-loads. DBS check is required and shift pattern is 5 days on, 3 days off.

Hourly rate is £14.28 with overtime at time and a half after 45 hours. You must have CPC/TACO and a valid 7.5t licence or higher, plus a clean DBS, to be eligible.

• HGV 7.5 tonne licence or higher.

• Ability to handle heavy goods.

Steer Staffing are currently recruiting for 7.5 tonne Delivery Drivers, to join a distribution and delivery company based in Bolton.

You will be delivering customers orders to their houses and office sites, working with a Drivers Mate to support you on all deliveries route plans are put together for your daily, and your vehicle is pre loaded each morning.

The shifts are 5 days on and 3 days off, the days will be on a rota basis, with two 30-minute breaks, morning, and afternoon.

A DBS check will be required for this role.

The duties of the 7.5 tonne Delivery Driver include:

• Lifting heavy items and completing a multi-drop driving role
• Ensuring the right products get to the right places at the right time
• Following a delivery route
• Pre calling customers before arrival
• Filling in paperwork as and when required
• Removing all packaging from each delivery

The ideal 7.5 tonne Delivery Driver will have:

• Experience within a similar role
• CPC and TACO
• 7.5 ton licence or above
• The ability to handle heavy goods
• A clean DBS

The hours of work for the 7.5 tonne Delivery Driver are 5 days on 3 days off, the working days cover any 5 over Monday – Sunday, you must be available to work between the hours of 6,30am – 6.00pm.

The salary for the 7.5 tonne Delivery Driver will be £14.28 per hour, any hours over 45 will be paid at time and a half
