Job summary

First Fence Limited is seeking a Driver (Van) to join our on-site team at Canvey Island. You will be responsible for timely UK deliveries, ensuring 5-star service and adherence to road safety regulations.

You will hold a valid Class 2 HGV Licence, UK Driver CPC, Tachograph card, and understand UK driving hours rules. The role includes 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, with a supportive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 HGV Driving Licence (held for a minimum of 1 year).
• Valid UK Driver CPC Card.
• Valid UK Digital Tachograph Card.
• Strong knowledge of UK Driving Hours rules.
• Physical fitness and strength.

Responsibilities

• Timely and accurate collections/delivery of products across the UK while adhering to road safety regulations.
• Carry out pre/post vehicle inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
• Follow all H&S practices, policies and procedures.
• Load and unload goods as required, handle with care.
• Demonstrate physical capability for offloading goods.
• Proven experience loading/securing products during transport.
• Operate computer and mobile devices as part of daily workflow.

Position:

Reporting to: Depot Manager

Our drivers are the face of First Fence, you are the final link in the customer journey and key to ensuring that our customers receive a 5 star service each and every time.

Operational Responsibilities:

• Timely and accurate collections/delivery of products throughout the UK whilst adhering to road safety regulations.
• Carry out pre/post vehicle inspections / cleanliness
• Follow and comply with all H&S practices, policies and procedures.
• Load and unloading of goods as requested, ensuring proper handling care.
• Ability to handle physical demands of offloading goods.
• Previous experience of loading and securing products while transporting.
• Computer and mobile literate
• Valid C1 licence and Tachograph cards.
• No DD, DR's, IN's, TT's.

Requirements:

• Valid Class 2 HGV Driving Licence (held for a minimum of 1 year)
