Job summary

Pontoon is seeking a dynamic Sourcing Manager (RFQ & Supplier Governance) for a temporary 6-month assignment across Halifax, Bristol, or Edinburgh. The role requires coordinating technology resource sourcing, RFQ activities, supplier engagement, and governance across multiple technology teams.

You will review Work Orders, draft commercial documentation, and advise on contract terms while partnering with stakeholders to meet demand and drive cost-effective supplier decisions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sourcing, procurement, or supplier management.
• Experience managing RFQ/RFP processes.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Experience reviewing proposals, Statements of Work, or Work Orders.
• Commercially astute with governance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Manage technology resource sourcing requests across diverse technology teams.
• Lead and support RFQ activities, supplier engagement, and proposal evaluations.
• Review and challenge supplier Work Orders to ensure compliance and value.
• Oversee Purchase Orders and related sourcing documentation.
• Draft and assist in creation of Work Orders and commercial documents.
• Provide guidance on contract terms, approvals, and supplier obligations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand demand and sourcing solutions.
• Challenge sourcing decisions to ensure cost-effective supplier choices.
• Support resolution of supplier performance, resourcing, and commercial issues.
• Ensure governance, delegated authority, and risk management standards.
• Cultivate relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and colleagues.
• Identify opportunities to enhance sourcing processes and governance.
