Venatu Recruitment Group is actively seeking an experienced CNC Operator with 5 axis experience to join a leading manufacturer in the LS13 area of Leeds.

You will operate 5 axis CNC machinery to produce high-quality components, ensuring accuracy and adherence to drawings and tolerances. This role offers a rotating shift pattern, temp-to-perm prospects, and the potential for permanent employment for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• 5 axis CNC experience is essential.
• Experience in precision components and tight tolerances.
• Strong understanding of CNC machining processes.
• Ability to read and follow engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate 5 axis CNC machinery to manufacture high-quality components.
• Ensure products meet specifications and tolerances.
• Monitor machine performance and production output for quality and efficiency.
• Carry out quality checks and inspections throughout production.
• Identify and report any faults, defects or inconsistencies with machinery or finished products.
• Follow engineering drawings, work instructions and production specifications.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Collaborate with manufacturing team to meet targets and deadlines.
