Venatu Recruitment Group is hiring a CNC Operator with 5 axis experience for a Leeds (LS13) area role. The position offers rotating shifts, a pay rate starting at £15.00 per hour, and a temp-to-perm path.

The successful candidate will operate 5 axis CNC machinery, ensure tight tolerances, follow drawings, and contribute to quality output in a well-established manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience operating 5 axis CNC machinery.
• Experience producing components to tight tolerances.
• Able to read engineering drawings and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate 5 axis CNC machinery to manufacture high-quality components in line with production requirements.
• Ensure products are manufactured accurately and to specified tolerances.
• Monitor machine performance and production output to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Carry out quality checks and inspections throughout the manufacturing process.
• Identify and report faults, defects or inconsistencies with machinery or finished products.
• Follow engineering drawings, work instructions and production specifications as required.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Follow all company policies, health and safety procedures and quality control standards.
• Work effectively as part of a manufacturing team to achieve production targets and deadlines.
