Job summary

Workshop Recruitment is seeking an experienced Weekend 5 Axis CNC Machinist in Bognor Regis. The role offers a Friday to Sunday 36 or 40-hour week with a strong hourly rate and overtime opportunities.

You will set up, operate and program 5-axis machines, inspect components and ensure quality, with a £24-£28/hour pay band and a £5/hour shift allowance. This permanent position includes holidays and benefits.

• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist with 5-axis capability.

Are you an experienced 5 Axis CNC Machinist with strong setting, operating and programming skills looking for a weekend-based role? Workshop Recruitment is recruiting for a well-established engineering manufacturer producing high-performance composite components for advanced industries. This Weekend 5 Axis CNC Machinist role offers a flexible 36 or 40-hour working week across Friday to Sunday, with a strong hourly rate, shift allowance and overtime opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate 5-axis CNC machines.
• Machine epoxy/PU patterns, fixtures and carbon components.
• Program and edit CNC code for complex components.
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Inspect finished components to ensure quality standards.
• Follow SOPs and machining procedures.

• Flexibility to work overtime when required.

Hours & Benefits

• Friday to Sunday 36 or 40 hours per week, with flexibility.
• £19£23 per hour depending on experience with a £5 per hour shift allowance.
• Overtime paid at time and a half.
• 20 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, increasing to 25 days plus Bank Holidays.
• Additional benefits available.

Salary: £24.00 – £28.00/hour
