Job summary

Balfour Beatty plc is hiring a 4D Digital Engineer to join our Essex team on the Lower Thames Crossing project. You will develop detailed 4D simulations, link model components to the programme, and support planning with 4D insights. You will mentor junior staff and help ensure 4D workflow documentation.

The role requires strong Synchro/4D software skills, Navisworks, and experience with Revit, Civil 3D and Bentley workflows, aligned to ISO 19650 standards.

Qualifications

  • Strong Synchro/4D software skills and good working knowledge of Navisworks.
  • Understanding of P6 and programme logic.
  • Good knowledge of 3D modelling workflows (Revit, Civil 3D, Bentley).
  • Understanding of ISO 19650 processes.
  • Experience supporting planning, engineering and constructability reviews using 4D.

Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed 4D simulations integrating 3D models with programme data.
