Northumberland County Council is seeking a dedicated HGV Driver - Refuse Vehicle to join the Neighbourhood Services team. The role covers driving our refuse and recycling fleet, including new food waste vehicles, and involves supervising a small team and using in-cab technology daily.

A Class 2 HGV licence and clean driving record are essential, with full training provided where needed. The post offers a 4-day working week, a focus on health and safety, and opportunities to contribute to

Competenze

• Holding a valid Class 2 HGV licence.
• Experience driving large heavy goods vehicles with no historical driving convictions.
• Ability to load refuse and assist with bin handling.
• Experience with in-cab technology is desirable, with full training provided.
