Job summary

LA International Computer Consultants Ltd is seeking a 3rd/4th Line Cloud Support Engineer in the United Kingdom. The role requires an Active DV clearance and involves responding to escalations from 2nd Line support teams, monitoring systems, and performing change activities to keep services secure and reliable.

You will provide technical leadership, support lifecycle management of platforms, and produce documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience with VMware stack and Horizon VDI.
• Strong Windows Server administration including AD, DNS, SQL and SCOM.

• Ability to own issues and lead resolution.

Skills and Experience

• Strong experience across VMware stack including vCenter, ESXi, NSX, and VCF.
• Experience supporting Horizon VDI environments.
• Strong knowledge of Windows environments including AD, DNS, SQL, and SCOM.
• Understanding of physical networking concepts.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to take ownership of technical issues and lead resolution.

Desirable Experience

• Experience with cloud administration such as vCloud Director.
• Exposure to event monitoring tools such as SCOM or Aria Operations.
• Automation and scripting using PowerShell.
• Server administration across Windows Server environments.
• Experience with software distribution tools such as MECM.
