3rd Line Support Engineer - Manchester City Centre - £45,000 + bonus
The Company:

Lorien Global is partnering with a company that is expanding its technical support division. This role is for a 3rd Line Support Engineer to join their team based in central Manchester.

The Role:

Working closely with the Digital Solutions Manager and the Service Delivery Team, you'll ensure efficient support of online systems across various business areas. Your responsibilities include troubleshooting triaged tickets from the Service Desk, diagnosing faults, and providing fixes. When issues cannot be resolved internally, you'll escalate them to specialist teams such as Development or Infrastructure.

This role offers the opportunity to work with a wide range of technologies, learn new skills, and access career progression within the company.

The Requirements:
  • Experience in an advanced support role with excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools and software (e.g., Instana, Splunk, Solarwinds, Prometheus, Grafana)
  • Experience troubleshooting Windows and Linux systems
  • Understanding of ITIL processes
  • Knowledge of website hosting (DNS, HTTP/S, SSL certificates, basic networking)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Some familiarity with AWS is a plus but not essential
