Job summary

The ECS Resource Group is seeking a 3rd Line Support Engineer to manage Microsoft 365 and cyber security for UK customers from their Hampshire base in Aldershot. You will act as the technical escalation point, owning customer environments and delivering reliable IT services.

You will handle Microsoft 365 tenants, Entra ID, MFA and conditional access, plus endpoint security, patching, backup and monitoring. Onboarding new customers and improving internal standards are also part of the role.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years in hands-on Microsoft 365 administration.
• Senior support, systems administration or MSP experience.
• Hands-on cyber security work: endpoint protection, alerts, patching and backup.
• Experience with Kaseya or similar platforms (Datto, Autotask, IT Glue, ConnectWise, NinjaOne).
• Strong Windows and business IT troubleshooting.
• Experience documenting customer interactions and actions.

The company

Our client is an established Hampshire managed service provider. They support UK businesses with IT, Microsoft 365 and cyber security. They're growing and need a senior engineer who can take ownership of customer environments.

The role

You’ll be the technical escalation point for a range of business customers. Your work will include:

What you’ll need

• Experience with Kaseya tools or similar RMM/PSA platforms (e.g. Datto, Autotask, IT Glue, ConnectWise, NinjaOne)
• Strong Windows and business IT troubleshooting
• Confidence dealing with customers, and good documentation habits

Nice to have

Intune, Defender, Microsoft 365 Lighthouse, Purview, Copilot administration, firewalls, switches and VPNs, and relevant Microsoft or security certifications.
