Job summary

Akkodis is seeking a skilled 3rd Line Server Engineer in Middlesbrough to administer and optimise Microsoft-based infrastructure, cloud services and enterprise systems. You will provide third-line support and technical expertise across the organisation.

You will manage a 600+ server estate, ensuring patches, monitoring and performance, while collaborating with ICT teams and business stakeholders to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure/Entra and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Extensive knowledge of Windows Server environments, Active Directory, DNS and DHCP.
• Experience supporting Microsoft RDS/AVD and Exchange environments.
• Proven Systems Administration experience and strong troubleshooting.

Our client is a leading provider, and a massive name in the industrial sector. They are looking for an experienced 3rd line systems administrator to come in and hit the ground running and join their growing in-house team in Middlesbrough.

You will be responsible for the administration and optimisation of Microsoft-based infrastructure, cloud services and enterprise systems, providing third-line support and technical expertise across the organisation. You'll work closely with ICT teams and business stakeholders to ensure systems remain secure, reliable and performant while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Role Overview:
